Chad is the co-founder and current president of the Black Bottom Gun Club of Detroit and serves as the Midwestern Regional Director of the National African American Gun Association, the largest African American firearms organization in the country. Chad has been featured in Reuters, Associated Press, CNN, and the University of Chicago's Institute of Politics. Chad has given guest lectures at Wake Forest and the University of Arizona. He is the founder and chief instructor for Apex Defense Solutions, LLC, a firearm training company. Chad holds an MBA in IT Management, a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, and is a Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Chad's most important accomplishment is being the father to the amazing Zariah and outstanding Zachary, the oldest brother to six exceptional siblings, and the son of the wonderful Roz and John. Rooted in family, Chad believes in unapologetically serving and being of service to his community.
